Free Polish courses for children and youth from Ukraine

Free Polish courses for children and youth from Ukraine

Online lessons on Language Supp Ukraine platform.

Language Supp Ukraine, a free Polish language learning platform for Ukrainian children and youth has been launched. The platform offers three month long online courses led by Polish and Ukrainian-speaking teachers. The courses are available for participants aged 6 to 18 years old.

The platform offers classes for groups of up to 8 participants, taking the form of two sessions with a teacher, two 45-minute classes per week (a total of four lesson hours per week). Children and youth can learn to use the Polish language in everyday situations.

The entire teaching process takes place on a platform created from scratch that is compatible both with computers and mobile devices (tablets, mobile phones). The innovative design helps to break down the language barrier and enhances language learning. At the beginning of the course students take a placement test to assess their current level of proficiency in Polish (available groups at A1, A2 and B1 levels). Students choose a given course basing on the results of the test. The course material is taught to match to the determined level, and nearing the end of the course the students' individual progress is tested.

To enrol to a free Polish language course, you need to set up an account on the platform. The project is realised by the Nativared Foundation with financial support of the Save the Children organisation.
