“Szafa Dobra” – store offering clothes, footwear and accessories free of charge

"Szafa Dobra" is located at os. Górali 8 (Nowa Huta district) (see map).

People in need can receive free clothes, footwear and accessories there. “Szafa Dobra” is organised by the Internationaler Bund Polska foundation, the operator of the Multicultural Centre in Cracow and the Information Point for Foreigners in Krakow. Partners of the project are: Multicultural Centre in Cracow, the City of Cracow, Drapen and Havet, IKEA Polska and the Cracow City Development Agency (office on ul. Śniadeckich).

The office at os. Górali 8 offers men's, women's, and children's clothing. It is open from Wednesday to Friday from 10.00 to 16.00. The nearest public transport stops are: Os. Zgody, Bulwarowa and Plac Centralny im. Ronalda Reagana.

Soup for Ukrainie – free meals and store

You can pick up nutritious, vegan pasteurised soups in jars at the office. They are prepared on an ongoing basis by the residents of Cracow and restaurants and bakeries of Cracow.

Products can be picked up every day from 10.00 to 16.00 at the warehouse at ul. Śniadeckich 3 (see map). The access is marked in Polish and Ukrainian.

There is also a point offering free daily products (e.g. bread, tinned food, cereals, rice, pasta, etc., hygiene products, cosmetics, etc.).

Refugee centre in Cracow

The centre for refugees from Ukraine operates on ul. Berka Joselewicza 1 provides accommodation for people who have come Cracow. In-kind assistance (food, hygiene products, children's items and more) is also provided there.

Sklep za jeden uśmiech - Łagiewnicka 54

At ul. Łagiewnicka 54 (see map) there is a centre offering clothing, footwear, underwear, bags, toys, bedding, towels, children's accessories, suitcases, crockery, small household appliances, cosmetics, and other essentials.

All items are issued free of charge. The centre is run by the Dobro Zawsze Wraca foundation.

Polish Red Cross Małopolska

The Małopolska Regional Branch of the Polish Red Cross is issuing food and hygiene packages for refugees. Clothing and footwear are also offered if available. The packages are offered to people who crossed the Ukrainian border after 24 February 2022 and have confirmation of this in their passport or other relevant document. The items may be picked up at the Red Cross office in Cracow, ul. Studencka 19 (see map), between 08:00 and 17:00.

CARITAS - centre for migrants and refugees

The centre operates at ul. Ossowskiego 5 (Wola Duchacka district) (see map).

The facility is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00-14.00. Packages are issued on Wednesdays 10.00-14.00.

The site also offers psychological and material assistance and free Polish language courses and integration activities.

Information point for foreigners – Daszyńskiego 22

The Information point for foreigners is located at Galeria Kazimierz, ul. Daszyńskiego 22 (see the map). Refugees can receive food, chemicals, medicines, hygiene articles free of charge. They are issued on Mondays between 09.00 and 16.00.

Donation point for refugees from Ukraine of the On Life Foundation

The centre is located at ul. Piłsudskego 29 (centre of the city, entrance from Aleja Krasińskiego, nearest public transport stop: Muzeum Narodowe) (see on the map).

The point offers free food, clothing, and cleaning products (e.g. soap and diapers). Items are distributed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays between 10:00 and 13.00. The point also provides assistance (once a week) to people who have come to Cracow in the past three months, the disabled, the elderly (over 70), pregnant women and mothers of 3 and more children.
